2009 SMDC Party on Nov 7, 2009

We finally readied for our annual dance party.  It was postponed due to the team formation preparation.  We finally got a Foxtrot and Rumba routine from Ronnie.   After several months of practice, the result was wonderful.

As usual, we had a short and sweet program to entertain everyone and a lot of dancing music for all the dancers.

The program was as the follows,

1) Cha-cha (Lisa/John, Peggy/JC, Jenny/Victor, Winston/Georgina)

2) West-coast Swing (Fei/Tony)

3) Waltz (Corrina/Edward)

4) Singing performance by Victor

5) Foxtrot (Peggy/JC)

6) Waltz (Fei/Tony)

7) Singing performance by Victor

8) Foxtrot/Quickstep (Corrina/Edward)

9) Foxtrot/Rumba Formation (Bessy/KC, Peggy/JC, Lisa/John, Jenny/Victor, Fei/Tony, June/Ben, Joyce/Craig, Georgina/Winston)

It Is Show Time - SMDC 2007 Dance Party Show

Under JC's leadership, we had another success annual party. This party is focusing on taking leading role of involving every quest on the dance floor. Special designed group dance numbers allowed SMDC members to invite guests on the floor for dancing and then snowballing to others guests until we got everyone on the dance floor. It was a success.

Team performance is one of the SMDC traditions. A lot of effort was made by all team members and some follow coaches. From time to time, it felt like too much time and effort was made for a single routine. However, the results spoke for itself. All the effort was paid off with a solid and well executed performance. We did it again!

Corrina, Edward, Sophia, Jerry and Isabel had a four dances routine including Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot and Quick Step. It was a 4 in 1 routine. It is new to our club, however, they performed faultlessly. It was wonderful way to show off their skills in different dances.

Fei and Tony performed Foxtrot.

Isabel and Edward's Rumba was sensational.

Corrina and Edward's Paso Doble was a hit. It started the program and brought up the mood for a wonderful program.

It is a team effort to get ready for our 2007 annual party. Everybody was CCC at 3PM to work on the preparation voluntarily. With the team effort, it only took about 2 hours to get everything ready. After that, we had some time to go over the routines once again. We also got moment to relax with supper and posting for picture.

Only newly wed will do the kissing during the wedding celebration. This must be a newly wed.

Red vs red. Adding a little bit won't hurt the competition either.

You would always find them when there is good food and wind served.

Who is this couple? We have not seen them for quite long time. Must be Mr. and Mrs. MIA.
